Fireproof Leadership is a six-session NAB-accredited education series designed for licensed nursing home administrators and long-term care leaders who are navigating high-pressure, high-stakes environments every day. Each one-hour session provides focused, practical tools to lead confidently through real-world challenges—from grievance escalations and staffing crises to survey jeopardy and shifting payor models.
Whether you're a seasoned LNHA or rising into senior leadership, this series delivers the clarity, composure, and compliance readiness needed to thrive when the heat is on.

Learning Objectives
As a result of this presentation the participant will be able to:

Evaluate the impact of staffing instability on resident care outcomes and team dynamics.

Session 3: Code Red: Are You in Jeopardy?: Navigating Survey Threats and Immediate Jeopardy
Identify conditions that may trigger immediate jeopardy during regulatory surveys.
Construct a leadership response plan that includes team preparation, communication, and real-time accountability.
Session 4: Contain the Fire: Building Effective Abatement Plans
Examine the components of a successful abatement plan that satisfies surveyor expectations.
Design a corrective action plan using root cause analysis and quality improvement principles.
Session 5: New Frontiers: Emerging Payor Sources and Provider Shifts
Interpret the implications of new payor sources and care models on facility operations and reimbursement.
Formulate a strategic response to shifting financial landscapes that align with mission and sustainability.
Session 6: Leading from the Fireline: Staying Grounded During Crisis
Demonstrate effective leadership presence and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
Implement strategies for visibility, team communication, and self-regulation during organizational crises.
Technical Requirements
Virtual sessions are held via Zoom teleconference. Participants will need speakers, microphone, and webcam to get the full interactive experience.
Helpful Tips
Plan to participate in a private space. Licensed Nursing Home Administrators are incredibly busy, attending from your office will likely minimize the investment in yourself. Give yourself permission to invest in YOU!
